And My Heart Beats, It Goes Damn-You-Chelsea !

February 26, 2007 ladynina Leave a comment

As sore as my whole body and muscles now, nothing compares to the sore I’ve right now in my heart.  Yeah… I guess you know why; we didn’t make it at the Millennium Stadium last night; a 1-2 lost over Chelsea.  Shucks !  You know what, last minute goal is always a pain in the ass.  It’s like the whole defending-thing for 90 minutes is nothing but useless.  Arghhh !  Someone please kill me.  Kill me.  Like now.  Yeah… I say NOW !!  I’m so frustrated.  Okay.  Fine.  Chelsea deserves to win the cup, you say.  They did it for their captain JT, you say.  Ok, fine !  :-(

But first thing first, kudos to the brave youngsters for fighting with passion, heart and soul, the overpaid boys in English football world.  PROUD !  Yep, they didn’t win the trophy but what we saw last night was the future of Arsenal in these young blood.  What more we the fans want, right?  Back to the conceded goals, I’ve no complaint on Drogba’s 2nd goal but his 1st goal was supposedly flagged offside but somehow it was allowed.  Damn you.. $%#&^@#!… you botak guy with a chequered flag.  Get your eye check.  Should the goal is not allowed at the first place, who knows we may have a different ending.  With a tie position till the end of the game who knows, we may get a different result all together if them extra time was given to these young guns.  *Sigh*  Owh !  I’m surprised that JT braved his injured ankle and be part of his team.  It looked serious during their Champions League’s clash with Porto the other day, and he’s supposedly rested for few weeks.  Prolly Chelsea desperately needs his service huh?  Or he wanted to be part of his team at his will and wanted to be the 1st player for this season to lift the trophy at the end of the game, which he didn’t manage to do it anyways.  Poor JT.  And, I wonder why Wenger didn’t play Rosicky last night.  That chap is good and has a good control on the ball.  Other than that, Arsenal had lined up their young guns in last night’s game.  Those young bloods are undeniably good but you know what, good alone is not good enough.  It has to come with experience as well.  Usually, young people have lack of patience.  Easy to provoke and be provoked when things are not in their way. *Sigh*  And… and… Arsenal is not Arsenal if no drama. C’mon!  What’s with the brawl guysIt doesn’t worth a single cent for the 2 reds ok?  What??  This is not funny.

Sheeshh.

Arsenal’s Come Back

After a 1-1 draw to Middlesbrough last week, Arsenal made a come back last night with 2 -1 strikes against Wigan Athletics. That was a good game although initially I thought that the boys will lose to Jewell’s boys when they were left behind by 1-0 at the first half. For the first 45 minutes, Wigan looked likely to become the first team to deny Arsenal at home, when Danny Landzaat scored at 35th minutes of the game. The score remain 1-0 until Fitz Hall scored into this own net at minutes 81. Then 5 minutes later, Rizek made a winning home header for Arsenal.

For the first time Baptista was paired with T when Wenger decided to drop Adebayor in last night’s game. Walcott is getting better and he seems to collaborate well with T at some points during the game, and the holder of my favourite number 7 (after my darling Pires left) Rizek, is getting mature in each game and he managed to make Wigan’s team unsettled. Arsenal was left behind by 1-0 at the first half, and as early as 6 minutes after the second half started, Djourou received a nasty challenge on the nose from Wigan’s Heskey. This had forced Wenger to make a little bit changes with some of his players’ position.

Overall, it was a good game; another great comeback by Arsenal but frankly, I prefer an easier route for the boys to gain 3 points without so much drama.  Arsenal without drama is not Arsenal.  Heehee.

Best Of The Best

pattern1.JPGSince I decided to skip my usual Tuesday BC in MM last night, I treated myself with my all time favourite movie called Best of The Best.  The famous Eric Robert and Phillip Rhee starred in that movie.  The movie hit the world way back in 1989 and that was the time where most of the film makers were fond in making martial arts movie.  Phillip Rhee is a martial artist himself, an actor, a director and a film producer including the Best of the Best film series.

Anyways, in that movie there was 1 particular fighting scene by Phillip Rhee against Simon Rhee (his enemy in that movie and the one who had killed his brother in a tourney just like that) that I really love and I will keep rewind-ing that very scene every time I watched it.  The speed, the techniques and the tactics are like awesome.  I know it was just a movie, but he did it impressively flawless.  How I wish I can do thing like that whenever I’m sparring.

Speaking of sparring, actually I had lots of good and funny experiences of my own too.  I still remembered when I was asked to free spar for the first time (during training), it was totally embarassing. It still vividly fixed in my mind. Hahahaa ! Yeah… it was that embarrassing. Well, I learned a lot as I grew up. I shall say, I missed all that now.

On the other note, since the ESK is still hot in the market, I once again experienced a-punching-bag kind of thing in BC class the other day. I just wish these people would focus properly whenever they do their kicking. Or at least take more safety precautions in class. They sure don’t want to be hit in the class too, do they?  *Sighz*
