There Goes Our Man
No more Henry in Arsenal. There goes my favourite talisman to another great team. A part of me sad because he’s such a wonderful player and a good captain to his team. He has the MAGIC. And another part of me happy because Barcelona is my favourite team in Spanish La Liga. As much as I love how Arsenal play football, that much I love how Barca plays too. Barca is so much fun to watch.
I have foreseen that this day will come. Finally he made up his mind and moved to Barca. It has been always my wish that he ends his football career with Arsenal. As much as his fans difficult to let him go, I think it’s difficult for him to leave either. But this is the right time for him to move on and grab them one and only prestigious trophy he hasn’t won yet before he stops playing football. Well, maybe he has several other good reasons why he’s leaving. Barca is lucky to have him.
I’m sad.
We`ve had the best of Henry no doubt about it. He`s maybe slowed up a little, and he`s certainly Injury prone. Some weeks ago I watched a news item about NHS non drug funding for chronic conditions, and saw a middle-aged man walking with a stick, telling us how his new medication had reduced his crippling pain to bearable levels. This man had Sciatica, the very condition that helped reduce Thierry Henry`s appearances last season. I reckon that Arsene has weighed all these things up and decided that now was the tine to not stand in his way if he wanted to move on.
