Why do people like to apply Colgate or Butter or Lotion on a burned skin? You all never learned basic first aid meh? My mom taught us that the first thing we should do is to put the burned skin under a running water as fast as we can before the heat burn the inside layer of our skin. Cool water is preferable. Butter and colgate are not helping. That is a myth.

Go here for your personal reading. I should forward this to my clever colleague.

It’s the day when you feel like lying on the floor and do nothing. Wake up late, watch telly and sleep all day long like nobody business. Heehee. But nah, I’m sitting at my work station now in this super cold morning.

On a different topic, what are things that make you happy? Other than getting the things that we wish in our life, do you think that getting under people’s skin will make you happy and satisfied? Yea, it may not sound like the big of you but heck, admit it, the moment you know your ammo hit the target, that is one of the happiest moments in your life. Meaning, those things you’ve planned are worked out well – so to say. Though it will last only for awhile because usually happiness gained this way is not permanent, it will brighten your day still. Am I right or am I right? Heehee. But of course, we ourselves must have a strong mind lah, in case they want to throw it back to you.

So, I’m game for diving under people’s skin this Sunday. I can be a super mean bitch sometimes.

Who says nothing is free in this world nowadays? I did, but I will change it for today. Why? Because I got 2 free passes to watch JUMP show. Sweet ! And it is the best seat in the house baby. Double sweet. Click here for the synopsis of the show. But of course, thanks to Farid who circulated the news about them yesterday. Straight away I contacted few friends from Dewan Filharmonik’s family to help me getting them nicest seat. Obviously, they understand how much crazy I’m for this show. Gosh, I’m so happy now. I feel like jumping to the sky.

Okay, they will be performing in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, KLCC on 3rd – 4th December at 1 pm and 2 pm respectively. Yea, it’s on a working day and yea, I’m taking leave for this. As I was told by my friends, it’s already full house for Monday show. For Tuesday, there are quite a number of seats left so if you guys never watched this show, go collect your free tickets from DFP Box Office, Ground Floor Tower 2. It’s a one-hour show and it is worth to watch peeps. A must watch.

Enjoy this video.

This is a performance by Mig Ayesa. He was one of the contestant for Rockstar INXS, a reality show produced by none other than Mark Burnett. I was a close follower of this show when they aired it via Starworld channel. Mig was one of the potential top three and not to mention one of the most promising singers, alas he didn’t make it at the very last stage. He was that close to win. JD Fortune won by the way and now he’s the lead singer of INXS.

Anyways, this is one of Mig’s performance that I love the most. He was awesome with this piece.

He is hot, isn’t he? o-oh.gif

….an elephant !

I blame my work load that I had to skip gym for few days. Then I blame my work load again that made me tired and famished after that. Feel so pudgy.

Sigh…

“Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because
we are human? Pointless, really… Do the stars gaze back?
Now that’s a question…”

That’s the opening line for the movie called Stardust. I watched it last night and this is kinda charming movie. Very warm and sweet. But I strongly suggest not to watch when you are tired especially after you had work your arse off at gym. Why? Because there is a chance you might fall asleep at the starter. Yea, it is kinda slow there and starts to pick up from the middle part of the movie.

The story is about finding a true love. There is a place called the Village of Wall. There is a village boy named Tristan (I love Tristan). He is willing to do anything for the love of his life, Victoria. Victoria is just a girl in the Village of Wall, who is apparently after glam and money. There is this unimportant role named Humphrey, who is after a pretty and conventional girl like Victoria. There is this kingdom called the Kingdom of Stormhold. A piece of land shy by a long brick wall. History said that no one has ever passed the wall (well not really actually). There is a wicked dying king named King of Stormhold, who has 7 sons (3 had already dead). The 4 surviving sons fight over who will be the next king. Before the king’s last breath, he turns a ruby into a diamond and says that whichever son retrieves it and returns it to a ruby, then he will be next King of Stormhold. Magically, the said ruby flies to the sky and knocks a star and falls to the land, which Tristan and Victoria witness it. As a proof of love to Victoria, he promises to find the falling star, presents it to her and at the same time asking for her hands in marriage. There are also 3 witches who apparently desperate to find the falling star to restore their beauty and youth. Michelle Pfeiffer looks stunning in witch character by the way. So, it is the quest of Tristan of Village of Wall, Princes of Stormhold and 3 witches to find the falling star.

Little that Tristan knows, he holds a secret of the Stormhold land. He is the last heir of Kingdom of Stormhold. The King of Stormhold has a daughter named Una, who has been captured by a witch (not the 3 witches). Tristan’s dad once walks pass the wall 18 years back and meet Una at Stormhold. They fall in love and Tristan is born 9-month after that. Una is chained with an enchanted chain and the only way to release her from the chain is to kill the witch (the one who has captured her). Okay, the falling star is Yvaine. She wants to find her way home (Starry Sky) after being knocked by the King’s ruby. She meets Tristan and fall in love with him. Tristan found her and promises to give her a ticket back to home; a Babylon candle, which apparently allows one to travel wherever one wishes. As a price for that, Yvaine must follow Tristan back to the Wall to be presented to Victoria as a wedding gift. On their journey back, they encounter few obstacles and Tristan actually finds his true love in Yvaine. There is another important character played by Robert De Niro as Captain Shakespeare. He holds 2 personas; macho man and ’soft’ man. His character is the most entertaining character. To see him plays macho character in a movie is not a strange thing. But a soft character? Gosh, that’s hilarious. Really hilarious.

The ending of this movie is very much expected; a happily ever after. Yea, Tristan is the next King of Stormhold, Tristan’s dad reunites with Una, the love of his life, the witches are defeated and the princes are all go to heaven (I assume so). Very much anticipated indeed yet recommended.

What I like about this movie:

  • the sceneries; backdrops, hangings, furnishings, and other accessories are pretty and look authentic
  • the accent; I love England accent
  • the characters and the actings are just right. No exaggeration and not dull. Very entertaining
  • the coherence of each plot is great. The storyline is light and yet warm and comprehended

What I don’t like about this movie is the slow rhythm at the start. I yawned uncountable times and nearly missed the great heart of the movie (if I chose to sleep). I think Stan did doze off. Heh.

Go watch if you love something magical like Harry Porter. It’s an interesting movie and not to mention very romantic too. Two thumbs up. And lastly, this is Tristan. Isn’t he sweet? I like Tristan.

24 days more to go to MCR concert. I can’t wait.

Speaking of MCR concert, I’ve been playing MCR songs the whole day in office. On a repetition mode. Don’t worry, they’re only for my ears should you guys think I’ve disturbed my colleague. Heehee. Just when I thought I played them on a very minimal volume, a colleague came to me today and asked me this, “Hey, aren’t you bored listening to MCR the whole day? I can listen to it from my place.” Hahaa. It’s either she has a pair of sharp ears or she has been passing by my place few times a day that she knows what songs are on my playlist. Hey, the person next table can hardly hear anything from my machine but she’s like few feet away from me can listen to it clearly? Heehee. But anyways, I told her, “Hey girl. Bear with me for another 24 days. You’re gonna bleed your ears with MCR songs till the concert is over.” Hahaa. She gave me a dumbfounded look and walked away. Heehee. This is fun. Really !

Other than MCR concert *love it love it*, SPK is going to be an interesting place to hit tomorrow night. Yeah.
