How Come It Ends So Fast?

It is end of February already. And this year is a leap year, so we have one day extra to spend. Doesn’t make any different by the way, unless for those people who were born on the 29th Feb, then yea, leap year is a big deal. 4 months more before our financial year ends. Gosh, I need to check my key performance index form. Need to check whether I’ve met all the compliance. Anyways, I’ve not done any course this year, which I need to get 9.5 days (not sure what’s with the 0.5 day) and I need to achieve RM70 million amount of loan. How much have I done so far? And there are some other things to achieve too. Boy, I’m gonna get thin bonus this year. Or no bonus at all. *Cry*

By the way, I’ve received my order from a friend yesterday. Will write about it tomorrow because it involves a certain person and that certain person reads this blog. Hee. Anyways, I love my order. And 2 from the small package had gone to my system. Heehee. Definitely will place more orders.

PGS After Goalless Game

Arsenal failed to take its home advantage against AC Milan as the 1st leg of their Champions League last 16 tie ended goalless in this early morning match. There were a lot of close calls, alas none of them transferred to a meaningful score. Was already jumped in joy for Adebayor’s close header from the inside of six yard box but quickly sat back when it hit the bar. So close. The opponent, AC Milan is actually my favourite team in Italian Serie A, and it is so much fun to watch 2 of my favourite teams played each other this morning. 2nd leg is just 2 weeks away and bet San Siro is gonna be hot.

Happy Single Awareness Day

Celebrating Single Awareness Day ! That’s how my dear friend Colin rephrased it. So I borrowed this phrase from him.

There you go. To all my single friends, Happy Single Awareness Day ! This is our day. It’s the day where we are very aware that we are still single. So, let’s celebrate ! May this day will bring us more happiness and love. Doesn’t matter if we don’t get roses because they are perishable. *Giggles*

While I was in a meeting room this morning for our monthly meeting, one of my colleague received roses delivery. The meeting was distracted for at least 10 minutes. Then, another colleague received the same delivery and the meeting was distracted once again. I was supposed to present something to the people in the meeting room, got distracted at the same time. I was nervous about my figures (presentation) and the in-and-out of them colleagues made me kinda irritated. Not that I’ve anything against these lovey-dovey people but I was about to present and my turn was delayed for at least 30 minutes because of the “Wow, someone got flowers !” or “You’ve got a delivery” or “I don’t do V-Day !” Opss, that would be me saying the latter one. See, I know everybody is excited, trust me, I do happy for them. But can they please let me finish my presentation first? If I don’t friend with V-Day even more then, can you blame? Hmmm… I guess that must be the other half of me who was upset because I won’t get any white lily this year. Nevermind, doesn’t matter. Lily is perishable too. *Giggles*

After the meeting adjourned, I walked to my work station. I saw my staff and some other colleagues were busy looking and admiring at their delivery package. Sigh. Doesn’t matter lah. They are all perishable. Sigh. Then I walked faster to my table and….

……….I saw lilies. Twelve of them. Yayy, I’ve got flower too. Nehnehnehnehneh.

This Crumpled Effect

I remember texted my sister the other day saying that I was so happy to find one work attire that has a crumpled-effect. Happy-happy shopper I was. In fact I told her that it would be nice if the store have more of those (it is 1 type only). Not that I’m so lazy to press my shirt, but yea, I do sometimes.

So, I’m wearing this shirt today to work and I noticed that some eyes were staring at me. Or maybe at my shirt. They must have been thinking, “What happened to this sweet lady with a smart brain this morning that she didn’t have time to press her shirt?” Or something like that. I obviously couldn’t hide myself (with this size?) in the crowd plus I’m carrying my gigantic bronze gym bag. Not only the eyes were on my shirt, I think they admired my fancy bag, which complete with a popobe bear hanged at the side. Doesn’t sound like a gym bag, but yea, blame it on Nike Culture for coming out with such fancy bag. But not the bear. I put it there. Back to the shirt. The more I tried to convince myself that I can pull this shirt off, the more eyes were looking at me. Couldn’t help it but to throw the sweetest smile in this world to them, but of course with the invisible What? What? Never-seen-a-crumpled-shirt-before? expression. Can you blame?

Sheesh !

Not that I’m not a confident lady, but I think I will not wear this shirt for a long period of time. Maybe 7 years. Until the people (in LRT) are ready for it. At least.

Morning Quickie…

Arsenal won 2-0 over Rovers. Thanks to the opener and stoppage-time goals. Woohoo ! And not to forget, thanks to MU because they lost against City at the weekend derby. Hahaa ! Today will be a happy day for me.
