Crazy Awesome Weekend

That was one helluva weekend. Great weekend with amazing people around me. Some kind of reminding me why I’m doing this at the first place.

Alright, KL Q4 Workshop was held last Saturday, an avenue where all instructors meet and gossip catch up on each other’s stories. I had an impression that this Q4 is going to be BOOMS as half of BC Program Director was here in KL. Awesome. The 1st time I met her was in December 2009. So in a span of 2 years or less, I met her again. Lucky me. But I didn’t snap any photo with her this time around. I had it the 1st time I met her. Although I was at 85kg that time, but who cares. Rachael is still her. Owh shit, I should have done that. Now that I’m 65kg. Hahaaa!!! Who cares? Boohoo.

Not only that made me excited for this QW. The fact that BFF came down from Singapore was an added excitement. ;)

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the unavailability of our resources. I’ve a feeling that TTFC didn’t do a good job for this quarterlies. I thought they were paid to hold this workshop? No? I think they were paid. Who want to do things for free nowadays? Even if you want to poop, you have to pay 50 cents. You get my drift. Apparently, some people are just doing things for the sake of doing it and for some reasons, they didn’t bother to check why were the resources not in their hands yet. OK, perhaps they checked. I’m not interested to know. Whatever was the reason, please be responsible and do your job. Annoying to the brink! *updated : It was LMAP who sent the resources late and not TTFC’s fault.

On another note, Singapore Q4 Workshop was great! I’ve to admit that there were certain programs presented better in Singapore compared to KLQW. Except BC. BC was presented better in KLQW. Despite the liking of BT over there, it wasn’t as happening as in KL. At T8, few people from the floor were invited or rather SELF-INVITED themselves to the stage. They rocked T8, and I’m not talking about the track itself. I mean the stage! Too heavy for the stage. Hahaaa! Even Rach looked back to the people behind her and asked them not to move so much. LOL!!! Few people were really invited by Rach to share the stage; those who were there in Auckland during BC50 filming. That’s fine. But some with poor appearance and not to mention “pitchy” techniques, self invited themselves up and it was really sore to my eyes. Sorry for the words, but really. Sore! And believe me, it was not only my eyes. I bet to some other participants on the floor as well. But who cares? I was there to have fun and of course for the love of BC50. I left when Sh’bam was about to start. So I didn’t see how good other programs were. I bet they were! :)

Overall, kudos to the organiser of Singapore QW as the registration and everything went smoothly. They had their resources arranged well, I like that. I should have asked my resources to be sent to Singapore like my initial plan. But I didn’t. Sigh~ Let’s just hope I’ll get mind by this week.

  1. To be fair, I think LMAP are the ones responsible for late delivery since TTFC as receiver cannot control when the sender posted the stuff:)

    • yeah… just got the confirmation that LMAP was the one who made the bubu. cos on workshop day, when my friend called her friends stating that LM didnt send the dvd, the TTFC staff said, “no… no… they sent. but we didnt get it.” so we had the impression that TTFC was the one inefficient. =)
