On Guard

Not the kind of guard I always “preach” in the class. This is on guard as in for my wrist. Yep, twisted my left wrist. Again and again. I can now reckon, my left wrist is the weakest part of my body, no longer my back. For some unknown reasons, well at least for my big toe case, it’s always the left wrist and right big toe that hurt so much after each weight training. As for wrist, it will only hurt every time I add on few kilos in my training. The subsequent training, it doesn’t hurt usually. But, big toe??! Have no idea at all. =/

Of all those I did yesterday, I enjoyed my triceps workout the most. I did:

Lying Triceps Extensions – 3 sets x 10 reps
Lying Dumbbell Extensions with 15kg – 3 sets x 10 reps
Dips Between Benches with 10kg plate – 3 sets x Reps to failure (thanks to Dana Linn’s very inspiring picture sent by KG – hahaa!)

Triceps were on fire!!! Awesomest!!! Decided to put this the last workout before I move on to legs. I’ve always wanted to have nice shoulders, so it has been my priority to start on that part before anything else before I drain my energy. Now, I’ve to work on my back muscles. I noticed yesterday that I actually have a bad posture. It looks like I’m slouching when actually I’m not. Of course among other things, habit in office does contribute to this one. I’ve a weak back and it’s not good. Until, I strengthen this part, I’ll always struggle for them decent unassisted pull ups. Something to look forward to in 2012. Getting better physically. ;)

On a shorter fresher note, today is the last day of working for 2011! Woohoo. Productivity level = 0%. Hahaa!!! Will be on leave starting tomorrow. Sa-weet!! *hula hoop dance* Going to stay back office to finish up everything. Don’t want to tapau work back home!
